On December 26, 2023 my White Blue Opus 88 Koloro (Extra Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with Birmingham Point Park Fountain Turquoise. The pen was in use for 10 months and was emptied and cleaned on November 17, 2024, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

This pen was also a Christmas gift from my wife. I spent some time looking for an unused ink that would match and with my wife’s help settled on this one. I hesitate in that the ink feels a bit more green than the pen, but I will give it a try.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

Normally I would be surprised this pen was in use for most of a year, but this pen has a large ink reservoir. The nib is wonderfully smooth, and the pen fits comfortably in my hand. The ink was nice but maybe not a showstopper.
