On February 17, 2017 my Blue TWSBI Diamond 580AL (IF) joined its comrades when it was filled with Diamine ASA Blue. The pen was in use for about 11 months and was emptied and cleaned on January 12, 2018, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I’m still testing out the IF nib on this TWSBI, this time with an unmistakably blue ink, and one that will hopefully prove to be less dry than the last one.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

Despite the length of time it took to write this pen dry I really enjoyed this combination. ASA Blue always seems like a standard blue until I write with it and then it’s something special.
