Sailing Baïkal in Blue Aluminum

Wherein my Blue TWSBI Diamond 580AL (IF) is paired with Callifolio Baïkal.

On my Blue TWSBI Diamond 580AL (IF) joined its comrades when it was filled with Callifolio Baïkal. The pen was in use for 2 weeks and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I sent a TWSBI nib unit to Nib Grinder and just got it back, so I’m eager to write with it. I put it in my 580AL Blue because I love the color of the pen, and it’s been some time since I last used it. As for the ink choice, I’ve been wanting to return to it, plus it is in my TWSBI ink well, and I couldn’t pass up a chance to use it.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I didn’t write this pen dry. The ink wasn’t jiving with me. I like the ink, it’s a great blue-black, and even while writing with it I would admire it, but it’s not shade I want right now. I’m in a different mood and was finding myself choosing to use any other inked up pen, and since I want to test out the new nib it’s time for a new ink.
