On January 13, 2019 my Silver Wing Sung 30 (IEF) joined its comrades when it was filled with Noodler's Lexington Gray. I refilled it 2 times; the last refill was on July 7, 2021. The pen was in use for 4 years and was emptied and cleaned on January 22, 2023, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I bought these Wing Sung pens precisely because they are cheap, so I won’t care what happens to them, thus they are my experimentation pens. While I don’t believe that Lexington Gray will do anything harmful to the pen, nor stain it, I’d rather find that out on a cheap pen, so here we go!

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I’ve wrapped up my journal project/experiment. It took far longer than I expected. In all that time, this pen and this ink came to be a favorite. I will likely return to this at some point in the future.
