On September 5, 2016 my Blue Matte Pilot Vanishing Point (0.5mm CI) joined its comrades when it was filled with Pilot Iroshizuku Shin-kai. I refilled it once; the last refill was on November 12, 2016. The pen was in use for 3 months and was emptied and cleaned on December 29, 2016, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I’m still trying to determine if the nib is what I want, and I’m running out of time (30 days are up soon). I like Shin-kai so I thought I would try it out in the pen to see how it performs. Right now I’m 1 for 3.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I have really enjoyed this ink in this pen. There are other inks I want to try in this pen, and I have more than enough pens inked right now to justify keeping this pen in rotation.
