TWSBI Double Emerald

Wherein my Emerald TWSBI Diamond 580AL (0.5mm CI) is paired with TWSBI 1791 Emerald Green.

On my Emerald TWSBI Diamond 580AL (0.5mm CI) joined its comrades when it was filled with TWSBI 1791 Emerald Green. The pen was in use for 2 years and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

Why not put TWSBI’s emerald green ink in their emerald 580AL? It may not be a perfect match in hue, but I think it’ll be closer than my other options.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

Green is still not one of my favorite hues for an ink, though this one was nice. Mentally I kept thinking it was a darker, richer green than what actually went down on the paper, and I suspect that contributed to it’s long fill time.
