Two Thousand Sunsets

Wherein my Makrolon Lamy 2000 (0.6mm CI) is paired with Paradise Pen Sunset Red.

On my Makrolon Lamy 2000 (0.6mm CI) joined its comrades when it was filled with Paradise Pen Sunset Red. The pen was in use for 6 months and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I really want a red ink in my rotation, I seem to always want a red ink in my rotation, and I really wanted to use a red ink in my Lamy 2000. Since I haven’t had a chance to use Paradise Pen’s Sunset Red I figured this was a good combination.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

For some reason this combination didn’t work as well for me as I thought and hoped it would. I like the pen. I like the ink. I even, for a time, enjoyed the two of them together. I believe the problem I encountered is that I ended up only using it in my Hobonichi Techo, which has a 4mm grid and this italic writes just a bit too wide for that to be comfortable.
