The Golden Pelikan

Wherein my Black-Blue Pelikan M605 (0.7mm Stub) is paired with Diamine Golden Sands.

On my Black-Blue Pelikan M605 (0.7mm Stub) joined its comrades when it was filled with Diamine Golden Sands. The pen was in use for one week and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I wanted to have some Christmas themed inks again. I happened to see a blog post by Wonderpens on the same topic and spied an amber ink that looked rather festive. In the same spirit I decided to try Golden Sands and figured it would be fun to use it in my Pelikan m605.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I didn’t get a full fill on this pen because all I had was a sample, and I didn’t want to go through the bother of using a syringe. I didn’t figure I would really like the color, and initially I did not. However, it grew on me. I want to try this ink again in the future, and I was tempted to refill this pen, but I have more pens inked at the moment than I’m comfortable with, so it’s done for now.
