On August 22, 2017 my Ghost Franklin-Christoph Model 45 XLV (IF) joined its comrades when it was filled with Organics Studio Walt Whitman. The pen was in use for about 4 months and was emptied and cleaned on December 20, 2017, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I’ve had my eye on this pen ever since their first batch of them. I was gifted some money for my birthday and decided to spend it on this pen. I’ve long wanted to use this ink, and as I have a lot of blue inked up but no greens it felt like a good time to load it up. I’m looking forward to using this pen and ink!

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I’m not sure what happened here but I struggled to get the ink to flow out of this pen from day one. When it worked it was enjoyable, but it didn’t work often enough. So I’ve finally dumped the ink and given it a good clean, and I thought I saw some chunks while cleaning…. I want to return this pen to use soon since it was a birthday gift and hasn’t had much time in hand yet.
