Terre de Legno

Wherein my Wooden Deep Red Pilot Namiki Legno 89s (Fine) is paired with J. Herbin Terre de Feu.

On my Wooden Deep Red Pilot Namiki Legno 89s (Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with J. Herbin Terre de Feu. The pen was in use for 2 months and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I’ve had this sample rolling around in my box of yet-to-be-tried samples for quite some time. The color has always intrigued me, but I’ve never really been in the mood for it. It’s been a while since I’ve used my Legno and this combination seemed to fit. I plan to use this pen with my Passport Traveler’s Notebook and if I like it enough I’ll end up getting a pen loop. Time will tell.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I’m sad to say this ink just didn’t work for me. Often I choose another pen. I did carry this pen with me out and about quite often, to accompany my Traveler’s Notebook, but even then I didn’t really use it much. I wish it were otherwise, but I’m okay seeing this one go away.
