On December 17, 2025 my Black Aurora Talentum (Extra Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with Birmingham Southside Park Fern Moss. The pen was in use for 3 months and was emptied and cleaned on March 24, 2026, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

No special logic here: I wanted to use this pen again. I also have four others I want to use and had already picked ink for each of them. Originally this was a pen option for a grey ink, but when that was decided elsewhere I realized I didn’t have a green in the schedule; I also realized I had a bottle of green I had not used, so the decision made itself.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

The pen outshined the ink so much so that I want to clean the pen and put it back into service. I would have just refilled it but I have another pen with Irish Green ink in it so I have enough green at the moment.
