St. Patrick Goes to Taiwan

On my Green TWSBI Diamond 580AL (IF) joined its comrades when it was filled with Montblanc Irish Green. The pen was in use for 9 months and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I’ve decided to collect the colored aluminum Diamond 580s, and green is the latest color. St. Patrick’s day is coming up, and having some Irish heritage, I thought it fitting that I use both a green pen and a green ink. I’m not much of a fan of the color green, but I do have my exceptions, and I’m thinking this may be one of those.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

Green is not my favorite color, which is probably why it took so long to write this pen dry. However, as I got to use this ink it grew on me. The way it shades was quite appealing. In the end I’m glad I have a bottle of it, but I probably should not fully fill a piston filler again. :)
