Slate Steel Blue

Wherein my Slate Blue TWSBI Eco (Extra Fine) is paired with Birmingham Andrew Carnegie Steel Blue.

On my Slate Blue TWSBI Eco (Extra Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with Birmingham Andrew Carnegie Steel Blue. The pen was in use for 11 months and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

There’s something about out blues and grays that draw me in. I picked up this new TWSBI Eco and found an ink in my collection I’ve wanted to use for a while, and figured I’ll give them a try.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I fear I will regret not refilling this pen as every time I look over what has been written with it I admire the color. The pen itself is excellent in terms of aesthetic and ink flow. I am retiring this because I am somewhat eager to bring new pens and new ink into my rotation, and to do that I need to have some vacancies.
