Sidewinder Sky

Wherein my Sky Blue TWSBI Eco (Extra Fine) is paired with Noodler's Texas Sidewinder.

On my Sky Blue TWSBI Eco (Extra Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with Noodler's Texas Sidewinder. The pen was in use for one year and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I recently got this pen and while I didn’t anticipate filling it right away, it was sitting on my desk for a day and I kept finding myself looking at the pen. I don’t currently have an orange nor a red ink, so I figured to go with a contrasting ink and try out Noodler’s Sidewinder.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I’m surprised this took more than a year to write empty. I enjoyed both the pen and the ink, but I must remember that orange or red inks, while enjoyable, aren’t ones I use for any long writing. They make great accent colors and are good for taking notes, but if I’m going to write out a story or a journal entry I’m probably using grey, brown, or blue.
