Qin Dragon

Wherein my Red Hongdian D5 (Extra Fine) is paired with Diamine Red Dragon.

On my Red Hongdian D5 (Extra Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with Diamine Red Dragon. The pen was in use for 2 months and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

My wife bought me a new pen for Valentine’s Day and I figured a Chinese themed ink would be a good idea, and I haven’t used Red Dragon in a really long time.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I had a lot of fun using this pen, more than I expected. The nib is wonderfully smooth and produces as sufficiently thin line. The ink is as good as I remember it being. Unfortunately, it was competing with other inks I had in rotation at the time, so I will set this aside for now and put this pen back in rotation when I can give it more attention.
