On May 20, 2016 my Blue Pilot Prera (Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with Paradise Pen Turquoise. I refilled it 2 times; the last refill was on September 16, 2016. The pen was in use for about 9 months and was emptied and cleaned on February 15, 2017, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

My wife is gearing up to attend a practicum for next year’s home school year, and she asked me to fill a pen with turquoise ink (she loves that color as well). She originally handed me one of her Platinum Preppies and asked me to clean it out, but I countered with my Prera (I really didn’t want to clean out another pen right now). Since I hadn’t used this turquoise yet we decided now was a good time since I expect we’ll share this pen until it’s empty.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

This was a fantastic combination. I almost went for a third refill, but I have other pens I want to use, and I have other turquoise inks I want to use, so this will have to be set aside for now. This may be the only ink I use in this Prera from now on, it was that good.
