On January 4, 2014 my Black-Blue Pelikan M605 (0.7mm Stub) joined its comrades when it was filled with Pelikan Edelstein Sapphire. The pen was in use for one day and was emptied and cleaned on January 5, 2014, saying good-bye to its fellows.

This is my first Pelikan ink and thought I’d put it in my first Pelikan pen!

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I found the ink to be too light and desaturated. I was hoping for a vibrant blue more in keeping of what I think of when I think of the gemstone.
