On February 15, 2017 my Turquoise Lamy Al-Star (Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with Lamy Pacific. I refilled it once; the last refill was on June 17, 2017. The pen was in use for 9 months and was emptied and cleaned on November 20, 2017, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

This pen and ink were an early Valentine’s Day gift from my wife. I waited to ink it up on Valentine’s Day, but then found myself too preoccupied to get around to filling and using the pen. I’m looking forward to this combination!

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

There’s not much to say about this combination. The ink is good, the pen is good, the nib was nice and [extra] fine. It stayed in my rotation longer than I anticipated because I ended up with quite a number of pens with blue ink to choose from.
