On the Ledge with Methuselah

Wherein my Dixie #10 Methuselah's Pine Cone Noodler's Konrad Ebonite (IF) is paired with Noodler's Proctor's Ledge.

On my Dixie #10 Methuselah's Pine Cone Noodler's Konrad Ebonite (IF) joined its comrades when it was filled with Noodler's Proctor's Ledge. The pen was in use for 5 months and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

The light has changed, veering into that gentle autumnal angle I find so soothing. Already we’ve had a couple of foggy mornings. Naturally my mind turns to my favorite past-time: reading chilling tales by a crackling fire on an otherwise chilly day. I felt it was time to return to Proctor’s Ledge, an ink I enjoy for its color as well as its story. As for the pen, it’s been a while since I’ve used it, and I missed having a Konrad in hand.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I enjoyed this combination. I always enjoy this ink, and the pen itself is quite nice. These last couple of months have seen some changes in humidity and pressure, and I did find some leakage into the cap. I’m not sure how much ink I lost that way, but it felt like the pen went empty too quick given how much I actually used it.
