Wherein my Tibaldi Impero Celluloid Scriptorium Pens Idyll (IM) is paired with Pilot Iroshizuku Fuyu-syogun.
On my Tibaldi Impero Celluloid Scriptorium Pens Idyll (IM) joined its comrades when it was filled with Pilot Iroshizuku Fuyu-syogun. I refilled it once; the last refill was on . The pen was in use for about 7 months and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.
They say you can’t keep a good man down, neither can you keep a good pen out of rotation. Immediately after cleaning kiri-same out, I filled the pen with fuyu-syogun. I’ve used this ink in the past and really enjoyed it, but it has been a while, and I unexpectedly fell in love with kiri-same. Hopefully I will enjoy this pairing as much as the last. If I don’t, I’ll clean it an fill it with some kon-peki.
I wrote this pen dry twice, and I still enjoy the ink. I’m torn about refilling it since we are now in winter and the ink is “Old Man Winter” but for now I need to reduce the number of inked pens so this will go back in the drawer for the time being. Given that it is my favorite pen I’m sure it’ll return to active service as soon as I find an ink I want to use.
