Model Sky

Wherein my Solid Ice Franklin-Christoph Model 66 (IF) is paired with Pilot Iroshizuku Ama-iro.

On my Solid Ice Franklin-Christoph Model 66 (IF) joined its comrades when it was filled with Pilot Iroshizuku Ama-iro. I refilled it once; the last refill was on . The pen was in use for about 12 months and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

This pen is something of a dream pen: it has been on my wish list for some time, and for one reason or another other pens made it to the top of the list before this one. Now that it is mine I wanted to use a colorful ink that really highlights the ice material. Since I’m gravitating toward the blue turquoises these days I figured I’d use one of my new inks. Already I am not disappointed as the pen look marvelous.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

The ink level is low and the pen is burping ink, so that means it is time to clean and/or refill it. I’m going to clean the pen since it’s been in constant use for about a year. I’m not sure what ink I will use next, but I am certain I will refill this pen.
