On May 16, 2017 my Blue Delta Journal (Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with Noodler's Navy. I refilled it once; the last refill was on August 30, 2017. The pen was in use for 7 months and was emptied and cleaned on December 20, 2017, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

This pen arrived and I am eager to use it and since it’s been a while since Noodler’s Navy was in a pen, and because it looks to match rather well, I’m using that ink.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I really loved this combination. The pen is fun to use; the matte texture is something I quite enjoyed. The nib is nice and fine, and while I originally planned on having this ground to an italic I think I’ll keep it as a stock fine for a while. I really liked writing with this pen, and this ink is still one of my favorites and went quite well with the color of the pen.
