On February 22, 2020 my Turmaline Lamy Al-Star (Extra Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with Lamy Turmaline. The pen was in use for about 5 months and was emptied and cleaned on July 18, 2020, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

What needs to be said? Lamy came out with an Al-Star color (and ink) that appealed to me, so I bought them and naturally used them.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I’m quite pleased with this ink. I reached for this more often than I initially anticipated. I don’t often enjoy stock extra fine nibs, but this one fit well this time around.
