On January 24, 2021 my Iris TWSBI Vac 700R (Extra Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with Private Reserve Plum. I refilled it 2 times; the last refill was on May 8, 2022. The pen was in use for 2 years and was emptied and cleaned on November 12, 2023, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I’ve been contemplating which ink to pair with my Vac 700 Iris. There are many colors in it but I’ve finally decided to go with this rich purple color.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I’m a touch sad to retire this pen. I’ve quite enjoyed using it; however, I have three other pens with inks in a similar hue and it’s time for a change.
