Wherein my Black Namiki Falcon (SF) is paired with Akkerman #28 Hofkwartier Groen.
On my Black Namiki Falcon (SF) joined its comrades when it was filled with Akkerman #28 Hofkwartier Groen. The pen was in use for 2 months and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.
St. Patrick’s day is upon me, and while I generally don’t favor green ink, I make an exception come March 17. To that end, it’s been entirely too long since I used my Falcon, and since it has a smaller reservoir it seemed like a good fit for a green ink. I’ve not yet used Hofkwartier Groen before so I’m rather excited to discover what I think about it.
This combination caught me by surprise: I loved it. In fact, I’m not entirely sure why I didn’t refill it from my sample and keep going, except that I wanted to reduce the sheer number of inked pens. I enjoyed the extreme range of greens this ink displayed, even with such a fine nib. I’ll have to get a bottle of this ink. It was also nice to use this pen again. It had been too long and it’s a lovely pen, even if I didn’t flex it this time around. I hope to use my Falcon some more.
