Wherein my Makrolon Lamy 2000 (0.6mm CI) is paired with Noodler's Lexington Gray.
On my Makrolon Lamy 2000 (0.6mm CI) joined its comrades when it was filled with Noodler's Lexington Gray. The pen was in use for one month and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.
I’m heading out on a vacation and wanted to take some pens, however I do not want to take pens I’d be heartbroken over should something happen to them. That had me looking for a new pen to toss a gray ink into because I want that color with me. So I chose this. I don’t intend on writing this one dry, and I even hesitate putting this on the site, but I am going to use it so here we go.
This didn’t work for me. Initially the color of the ink I was writing was tinted brown, making me think I didn’t clean the pen well enough the last time I used it. That worked its way out, but that left me with a pale grey that was hard to read. I ended up dumping the ink out of the pen, cleaning it, and putting it away for a different day. I honestly didn’t use it enough to be bothered with taking a photo.
