On February 14, 2023 my Orange Monteverde Regatta (Extra Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with Private Reserve Electric DC Blue. I refilled it once; the last refill was on March 8, 2023. The pen was in use for 4 months and was emptied and cleaned on June 21, 2023, saying good-bye to its fellows.

These were a Valentine gift from my wife today. Naturally I’m going to use it!

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I enjoyed the pen more than I thought I would. The nib was delightful to use. The ink is a nice rich blue and I’m sure to use it again in the future, but for now it’s time to move on.
