On December 16, 2016 my Red Ripple Scriptorium Pens Custom (IM) joined its comrades when it was filled with Sailor Jentle Epinard. The pen was in use for one month and was emptied and cleaned on January 18, 2017, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I recently got around to grinding the medium nib I bought with this pen into an italic. I didn’t have a green ink in rotation and it’s the Christmas season so I figured why not put a green ink in a red pen and be festive. I expect to enjoy this combination very much.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I’m emptying this pen before writing it dry for the simple reason that I need to work on the nib some more. It doesn’t quite have the line weight that I want.
