On January 6, 2015 my Dixie #10 Methuselah's Pine Cone Noodler's Konrad Ebonite (IB) joined its comrades when it was filled with De Atramentis Chocolate. The pen was in use for 2 months and was emptied and cleaned on March 15, 2015, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I haven’t used this ink in a while and really wanted to give it another go. There’s more red in this brown than in other browns that I own, and I had hoped it would work well with the color of the pen.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

The ink is special. The chocolate scent is still there, though in this pen it is mixed with an essence of ebonite. The color is still in the red spectrum of brown as I remembered it. It’s a novelty ink for me for now, though I anticipate I will continue to use it from time-to-time.
