On January 20, 2017 my Tibaldi Impero Celluloid Scriptorium Pens Idyll (IM) joined its comrades when it was filled with Noodler's Blue. The pen was in use for 2 months and was emptied and cleaned on April 5, 2017, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I’m keeping a journal for my daughter this year, and she loves blue. I haven’t had a chance to use this ink in this pen, and I’m expecting I’ll like it. Pretty simple really: I want an italic pen with blue ink.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

I enjoyed this combination, and I expect I’ll return to this one day in the future. The blue went well with the accents in the pen itself. Near the end, when the pen was almost out of ink, the nib would feel quite scratchy so I’ll take some time to look the nib over and see what I can do about that before refilling this pen.
