Black and Blue Sailor
Wherein my White Sailor Professional Gear Slim (Fine) is paired with Pilot Blue Black.
On my White Sailor Professional Gear Slim (Fine) joined its comrades when it was filled with Pilot Blue Black. The pen was in use for 3 months and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.
Thoughts Before Filling
Thomas Hall graciously sent me a sample of Pilot Blue Black and I wanted to honor his gift by immediately using it. Knowing that he uses fine nibs, and that I had not used my Sailor Pro Gear Slim in quite some time, I felt this combination was a sure thing.
Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen
This combination surprised me. The ink flowed well, the pen performed admirably, and all in all I quite enjoyed using this pen. I would like to try this ink in one of my italic pens next, as I suspect I’ll enjoy it.
