Wherein my Black Visconti Homo Sapiens (Medium) is paired with Diamine ASA Blue.
On my Black Visconti Homo Sapiens (Medium) joined its comrades when it was filled with Diamine ASA Blue. The pen was in use for 3 months and was emptied and cleaned on , saying good-bye to its fellows.
I really enjoy this pen, and I really enjoy a rich blue color. A couple of Sunday’s ago it dawned on me that I should try some ASA Blue in my Visconti HS. It took me two weeks because I was enjoying the pens I already had inked, and I still have a standard medium nib pen in rotation, but the siren call of this pen lured me in.
The ink did very well in this pen and I was rather happy with it, considering it is a medium nib and I didn’t have many occasions where I wanted to write with that stroke width. I have to admit, as much as I enjoy the nib I am not using it because it is not an italic nor is it fine enough for my tastes. I may need to seriously consider having the nib ground to an italic.
