On January 3, 2020 my Makrolon Lamy 2000 (0.6mm CI) joined its comrades when it was filled with Birmingham George Westinghouse Alternator Crimson. The pen was in use for 6 months and was emptied and cleaned on July 18, 2020, saying good-bye to its fellows.

Thoughts Before Filling

I want to continue using new-to-me ink and it’s been far too long since I’ve used my Lamy 2000, so I’m going to give this ink a try.

Thoughts After Cleaning the Pen

This worked rather well. The ink color really grew on me, and it behaved wonderfully in the pen. I almost decided to refill it, but as it’s been a year already, it’s time to make room for something else.
